Inspired by the 82nd verse from Holy Qur’an chapter, ‘Yā Sīn’ [36:82].
إِنَّمَا أَمْرُهُ إِذَا أَرَادَ شَيْئًا أَنْ يَقُولَ لَهُ كُنْ فَيَكُونُ
Translation: When He wills something to be, His way is to say, “Be”- and it is.
Transliteration: Innamā amruhu idhā arāda shayan an yaqūla lahu kun fayakūn.

Halime Uysal
Halime Uysal (b. 1991) was born in Konya and began her journey in calligraphy in 2012. From 2015 she trained under trained under Konya’s grand master calligrapher, Dr. Hüseyin Öksüz in Thuluth script.
Halime is currently studying Traditional Turkish Arts at the KTO Karatay University.
