Anam Khan

Born and raised in Lahore, Anam completed her Bachelors Honours degree in Fine Arts from Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), specialising in oil painting, glass painting, ceramic painting and clay work moulding techniques.

As a painter, art teacher and a specialist in miniature paintings, Anam’s work has been highly inspired by traditional Moghul style decorative arts using opaque watercolours and glass paints.

In 2013, Anam relocated to Cambridge, UK, where she regularly exhibits and teaches traditional miniature painting. During the summer of 2014, Anam was honoured with the presence of the Lord Mayor of Cambridge City, Councillor Paul Saunders during the opening ceremony of the exhibition ‘From Lahore to Cambridge’.
